About Ramon Vastmans

Entrepreneurs are regularly confronted with questions that require immediate action. How do you enforce payment if a debtor fails to pay? How do you resolve a shareholder dispute? Is the damage suffered recoverable? And how do you avoid personal liability as a director? I assist entrepreneurs with clear, practical and strategic answers to these types of legal issues.

In 2019 I started as a corporate law attorney at Ekelmans & Meijer in The Hague. There I built a solid foundation in corporate law, the law of obligations and civil procedural law. After a period in Utrecht, focusing on insolvency law and civil fraud, I founded Vastmans Advocatuur at the end of 2023. My practice focuses on national and international entrepreneurs in the SME sector. I also occasionally handle private civil matters.

My approach is characterised by thorough analysis, clear communication and a results-driven mindset, with ongoing attention to your practical and commercial interests. In addition to Dutch, I have an excellent command of English and am fluent in German, enabling me to handle cross-border matters effectively.

By combining broad substantive expertise with long-term collaboration with experienced specialists, I offer the quality of larger firms with the accessibility and cost structure of a boutique practice. I am also regularly engaged by fellow lawyers for support in civil litigation and contractual matters.
